Beta 3 installation. Used Software Management under Mandrake Control Center to
install mt-st package. Package is coded to default to /dev/tape drive.
Mandrake installed tape drive as /dev/st0. Problem could be avoided it
installer modified common startup profiles to export TAPE environmental variable
pointing to installed st0 device.
