One of the things that is very useful in ldap, is the logs of the server so you
can see what is hapenning. Unfortanatelly ldap logs into two places,
/var/log/ldap and /var/log/syslog. I think this shoudn't happen. As an example,
my imap server has a ldap server on it so user get autenticated. The server has
a 4Gb partition just for /var/log and it fills up over the night. The ldap
server has LogLevel set to 256, the defaul and very usefull has I said, but
theres is no nedd to put it in to places. Another probelem deriving from this,
is that logging into syslog makes it harder to see other aplications logs....
