Hi there. Too late now. I downloaded rc2 and it installed beautifully.
There could have been some file missing in the download or it was
corrupted in the download. With rc2 however, I notice I cannot use
LinNeighborhood or Samba either by using my localhost or ip addy. I'm
not too concerned with it right now as I know the good people at
Mandrake will solve the issue shortly in the next release. I run PIII
600, 256 meg sdram, 40 gig, seagate 7200rpm, SB PCI sound, 64 meg Asus
Video, Asus mlb.
Thanks
Cal

2 floppies, 40 gig and 9gig hdd.
Chose Workstation, Internet, Games, Configuration and Network Server.
Get to the Kernel installation of CD1 (9.2 rc1), shows 10 minutes to installation
and system hangs. Reboot, removing Network Server and continue to load then
freezes again. Tehn I remove (don't pick) workstation, try again and it freezes.
In other words. I can't get past the kernel install
