With bittorrent-shadowsclient-5.8.4-1mdk it is very easy to tune. I suggest to use this tool ASAP. Very easy to use and it gives a lot of details. > After 8 hrs, my download was only 20kB/s on 1536/384, max_upload_rate > 20. About 700 MB had been downloaded and 1200 MB up. My ADSL is 128/512. The upload speed was always max_upload=13k but the DL speed decreases to 3k after a few hours. This is due to the firewall which allows only my requests on ports 6881-6999 When allowing external connection on thes ports, the DL speed increases up to 30-40k and sometimes more. Then, it is necessary to include in the package a tool which opens these ports and switches them off when closing bitTorrent. -- Pierre Jarillon - http://pjarillon.free.fr/ Vice-prsident de l'ABUL : http://abul.org/
