In rc2, after adding "hdb=ide-scsi" to the append line and re-running lilo, harddrake detected the change and prompted me to change the fstab. (Cool! Less work for me.)

I did the same thing in 9.2, but left the room during the next reboot. Came back, saw my mistake, and rebooted again, but there was no harddrake message this time. Is it a bug? Or the expected behaviour (and my stupidity).

After this change, all the removable:// urpmi entries are broken, and must be re-added. It'd be nice, though perhaps asking too much, if that could be worked around somehow. Come to think of it, it'd also be great if there were a "use scsi emulation" option in the drakwhatever screen for each cd-rom drive...
