If all your hardware is configured, turn it off via the startup services
utility in drakconf or control services in linuxconf. It does nothing unless
you are constantly putting in and removing hardware. All it does is slow the
boot and you can manually run it anyway via the drakconf utility if you've
changed your hardware. But if you never turn your machine off/reboot then it
doesn't matter how long the boot takes if you never reboot (except for a
kernel upgrade).
