So, I have another ideas for Mandrake 10.0 (Yes, again...):
- Is it possible to have a tool in the MCC to edit the servicemenu and the possibility
to choose special operation with some files ?? For exemple have the possibility to
make simple task like this: << if I select a list of MP3, the line "play with xmms"
and "enqueue this in xmms" appear >>. The possibility to add, deplace or remove
options. And I don't know if it is possible to make personalized servicemenu for some
directories (for exemple, if i select my directory A, I have an option "synchronyze
with B" who appears (synchronization made with a script)).
**I speak for KDE, I don't know how Gnome or other WM works but it must be similar.**
- Is it possible to have an ISO of update (in fact a copy of directory updates with
some corrections if needed), and each week the ISO is updated with the new updates.
During the installation, the installer asks to connect to internet or if the user have
a CD to update. I think you can put new version of installer and kernel on the update
CD if there is a problem so no need to change main ISO if there is a problem.
Naturally, the ISO is optional for the install but it can be very useful for those who
haven't internet.
Tell me if the ideas are goods or if you think it's useless !
PRIAP.
PS: Ideas are for 10.0, it's just proposition, I don't need solution to edit
servicemenu, I have no problem !
