This is not the same as he is suggesting;  if I recall correctly, you have
to reboot at least once (using the newly installed system) in order to be
able to update (unless you have a backup system, but then it's pointless
anyway).  Using his approach, you do not need to invoke any kernels
(BOOT and 'regular' ones) which are on the first ISO!

For example, we had the problem here that on one box, only the BOOT kernel
during install could be used--without network access (third-party driver
had to be recompiled) we were lucky to use recue mode and install the -21
kernels from usb stick.

I'd highly appreciate if MDK10.0 will support this!
(and, whilst wishing: could we finally see a "back" button during install? :)
