The problem is that 'cc' goes into a loop..  Doing a rpm -Uvh
gcc-2.95* --force fixes it.
I think it is one of the perl installs that fucks up gcc. if you use cc then
it loops. If you use gcc then it prints an error message with some .pl files
missing.
I would say this is a pretty serious bug.
