hrmmmm well that's not exactly what I meant by it being as fun as throwing
salt in your eyes. strace a real big program and you'll see what you mean.
But just in case you didn't know, strace has the nice and handy -o option.
Hell, using strace without outputing to a file would be insane.
e.g.: strace -o trace.log -f /bin/ls
