I've applied the ReiserFS patch many times along with the Win4Lin in many odd ways, and some ended up hanging the kernel seconds after it started loading, some images refused to load, etc. A whole bunch of strange errors. I assume the ReiserFS and Win4Lin patches step over each other in many strange ways. I think I saw on the Win4Lin and ReiserFS pages that there is some confirmed incompatibility. I think Reiser and Trelos have to work together to resolve this problem.
