what's more, ext3 only exists for 2.2.x for the moment (it would take
some time to port it to 2.4.x).
At least, jfs exists for both 2.2.x and 2.4.0-testX.
and ext3 is half as slow as ext2 ... on 2.2.x, reiserfs is faster than ext2
(they've quite the same speed on 2.4.0-testX)
