I've just installed the KDE-1.93 rpms and am have some bugs (or mistakes on my
part) to report.

Firstly, the menu system completely over-writes previous menus, meaning that only
KDE applications are visible from KDE. However, I do like the fact that the
Mandrake level menus are back. There are some inconsistencies in icon sizes in the
menu, especially for Multimedia->Graphics-Pixie.

Directories, etc., are no longer registered to be run by default. e.g. if I click
on my CDRom icon I get an "Open With?" screen.

kcontrol crashes on startup when executed either from menu or command line. The
usual Signal 11 (SIGSEGV) window appears and not much else happens. Automatic bug
reporting also doesn't seem to work, but this could be me. What follows is terminal
output:

KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = kcontrol path = <unknown>

Otherwise this seems faster and more stable than the previous iteration.

All the best,

-Karl
