I tried more time with install and update (expert-development...).... I
noted that freeze arise only when a package selection show the dialog "The
following packages are going to be installed/removed...." indipendently which
package is.... last test with upgrade on my laptop where I've a backup of
complete development cooker install, only packages I can add was Bluefish (no
dialog no problem) and Emacs-pccomplete (dialog with emacs-pccomplete,eshell
.... and IDE freeze with watch-cursor), only return button works to check or
uncheck the package, and install button, but is not possible to scroll
package list or try select or unselect other visible packages.... (clicking
on install I verified that packages are really installed ... this problem
appear two or three modify on mdkinst ago)....

Little notes....
For upgrade with hd.img : in mounting of partitions it needs a check to
verify if ext2 mirror device is declared in existing fstab and do some choice
: not mount that entry from fstab or use that mount point to avoid
unnecessary reboots for not hdlist found .... other than those for "first
reboot after install Maestro freeze" with consequent long e2fsck...<g>....;o)
In choosing individual packages list double entry for Bluefish, Hackkernel,
Hackkernel-pcmcia-cs
On Kcontrol problem not configurable screensavers but configurable in
gnome...
More icons visible in KDE....and Knote accept font modify.....;o)
