hrmmm I've been pondering this for a while why the init scripts aren't linux
2.4.x compat. What I mean by that is, is that well take my init scripts for
example. I have to load some modules earlier than the current modules are
loaded. Specifically my module for eth0 and vfat.
I load these through rc.sysinit, but is there anyway to hack the init scripts
around to be compat with 2.2.x and 2.4.x ?
#1 When 2.4.x stable is released you'll be pretty ready : )
#2 people using mandrake won't have to guess why they're getting a wrong
major or minor error when loading their fat file systems at boot or a delay
in init for bringing up their network IF.
