[Cooker] procps-2.0.7-5mdk: broken "top"

Hi,

just installed Ulysses on a (IMHO) pretty typical Intel Pentium-S 200

executing "top" leads to a highlighted command prompt rather
than the program itself... So any error message is printed out. It
just clears the screen, displays a prompt and further type-in is
not visible (-> ncurses did have not been terminated correctly)

what should I do further to track down the problem..?
