I made it nearly through the installation of 7.2 beta 2 but couldn't type in the root password. Then I realized that my HP-Pavilion 9680C USB keyboard wasn't recognized. I was able to plug in a non-usb keyboard I had lying around and it worked, so I completed the installation. When I booted the newly installed OS, it still wouldn't recognize the keyboard. I did not have this problem under version 7.1. Any ideas? BTW - this shows the weakness of a "graphical" install. I apparently didn'y use the keyboard for anything until the installation was nearly done, so didn't know it wasn't working. There needs to be a keyboard test early on. Tim Wegner
