0.7.99 was just a short step to get back from 8 months of no changes.
Since 1 or 2 weeks, there is already 0.8.0 out.

BTW: Why did you remove xawtv from Mandrake? In Beta 7.2, it's not included.
Please put either kwintv or xawtv in it. This makes it much more "complete".
