I suspect that some mirror administrators might be waiting for the
Mandrake/.update_in_progress flag to disappear - it has been up
continuously for the past two weeks or so.
If I were a mirror administrator, I would wait. The flag gone would
be taken as an indication of near-stability, if not quite frozen.
That flag gone would also signal the satisfactory end of alpha
testing, necessary so that our beta testing may commence.
Please tell me if I am misinterpreting the meaning of that flag, and,
if so, what the real meaning and purpose is.
