[Cooker] moving etc to a different partition.

how do I move etc to a different partition and let the kernel know where all
the init stuff is?.
as I want etc as reiserfs.

I have managed to move var and home fine, but when I try to move etc the
kernel? can't find the init stuff and asks for a run level.
