Oi,
In the current version (12mdk) of CUPS Drivers there are two PPD files
for every printer supported by GIMP-Print. One PPD file is for the
GIMP-Print ("stp") driver compiled into GhostScript, the other is a
native CUPS driver. These native CUPS drivers are broken in 12mdk. I
have already fixed this and will upload CUPS-Drivers 13mdk with this fix
and some updates tomorrow.
So for today I would recommend to delete the native CUPS drivers with
rm -rf /usr/share/cups/model/gimp-print
After you have done this, restart the CUPS daemon:
/etc/rc.d/init.d/cups restart
and call your preferred printer configuration tool (KUPS, printerdrake,
CUPS web interface) again. Now there will be not more than one
GIMP-Print driver for every supported printer. Choose the one remaining
GIMP-Print driver for the BJC 6000.
Now the printer should work.
Good luck,
Till
