Hmmm... Let me see if I can word this in an intelligible manner. I like autologin, but I have multiple settings, #'d out, in .xinitrc. Sometimes I want to startx into enlightenment, sometimes in HP Builder, sometimes into Win4Lin, etc... Is there a way, or an autologin alternative, to do that? Like, for instance, boot into runlevel 3 and automatically login to the desired user. Then, kind of like LiLo, it will default to startx, unless a key is pressed. Maybe it will give a listing of options, or even just bounce into CLI under the autologged user. Is that clear? JJ
