No.  one is tulip, the other ne2k-pci.   A lot of experimentation
today only yielded the fact that the only PCI NIC card that the
kernel will see is one that has no interrupt conflict.  This fact in
turn makes the PCI slot choice for a NIC critical for this (older)
motherboard and PCI bios.
