it's quite strange, the kernel doesn't detect it as an CD-RW... if the kernel is
wrong what do you want me to do?!

and even if it was detected, there is yet again a pb with ide-burners in 7.2rc1.
you still need to do "ln -sf /dev/scd0 /dev/cdrom"
(or in your case something more complicated, what the hell are you doing with 3
cdrom drives ;pp)
