when i do this on a modem link and bt drop the line on a regular 2hr
basis, the rsync finished due to having a timeout set, and the iso
file got severely chopped to about the 45Mb-60Mb area.
then on the subsequent sessions, it spends increasing lengths of time
figuring out where it got to and resume at the plod of 5k/s area
(on a good day)
either i've got something wrong, extracted the core of script posted to
cooker list a few days ago, used by someone in same situation.
aux prog (ppp monitoring...) references deleted.
any idea or should i cc to expert ?
