I am writing you this mail from Linux/KDE2, but posted form from Windows.
My wish, as Compaq customer:
please improve Linux support from Compaq side. It is very hot technology
with growing market share. Unfortunately, I have found no Linux-specific
support pages on your site (if not to count some server-specific info, whish
was not relevant to Presario product range at all).
Information should not be server-specific or desktop-specific.
I am successfuly running Mandrake Linux on my Compaq Presario notebook, and
it just proves that Linux can be successfuly used on Desktop. As well as
server (I have Apache server running on my notebook as well)
Hope to get answer on ATI driver with TV-out feature, hardware 3D
acceleration and 2nd monitor support soon.
