Keep in mind, boycotting should be the very last step. Every effort
should be put into getting the vendor to want to play with Linux. We
don't *want* to boycott anyone. Nobody wins when that happens.
So before you boycott, make sure you have taken every step you can think
of to get the vendor on our side. A boycott web site should have an
always evolving list of practices and procedures that one can take to
try to convince a vendor to play. The focus of the website should be on
gaining the acceptance of Linux by a vendor, not shunning them.
I spent A LOT of time trying to get Iomega to even deal with Linux
before I finally wrote them off.
Now, as this heads offtopic, it should probably be taken somewhere else.
