The new rpm fails building on some variables related to agp. Right now, 
I can't state which ones exactly, but they seem to be agp_drm_init 
agp_drm_uninit.

I'm compiling the stuff under kernel 2.4.0-0.2, gcc 2.96 and glibc 2.2
