[Cooker] BSD Kernel + Mandrake

Are there any plans to integrate the BSD Kernel into Mandrake?  Secondly, 
are there any plans to ditch RPM for DEB?  Why does Mandrake stay with RPM 
anyway (besides it is what is being used now)?  Thanks,
