1. Do the kernel sources shipped with Mandrake 8.0 include the
security patches, or not?
If yes, do I need to do anything special (config option,
edit file, set envar etc) to build a security-patched
kernel from these sources?
If no, what must I do to convert the shipped kernel sources
to secure?
2. The secure kernel under 7.2 and earlier shipped without
REDIRECT capability in ipchains. Is this still an issue, or
will netfilter do transparent proxying with the secure-
patched binary kernel as shipped?
