[Cooker] xinetd, telnet, wu-ftpd problems.

Greetings,

In 7.x versions of Mandrake, I could never get xinetd to work so
I just used inetd and was fat, dumb and happy.  Apparently inetd
is no longer available so I tried using the 'powerful replacement'
but can't get telnet or wu-ftpd services to start.  Can someone
please tell me the silly thing I've failed to do?
