With kernel-2.4 getting larger, it was more and more difficult to have
"mkbootdisk" output fitting on a 1.44 mbytes floppy, especially with
reiserfs on some scsi, or with loopback root partition.

That's why I extracted some stuff from current stage1, and provided enough
to replace sash and insmod.static which were used by "mkinitrd" from
redhat (that is, a basic parser of config file and insmod from busybox,
all statically linked against the dietlibc).


Results are, on my machine:
    gzipped (sash + insmod.static)        502491 bytes
    gzipped mkinitrd_helper                14243 bytes


That means that you can now enjoy 490 more kbytes to fit gzipped modules
on the floppy.
