Hello,

Sory, perhaps this configuration is not very usual, but...

Proliant 1850R, 512M memory, smart array & Two PII 450MHz.

1) From iso beta2, boot ok, load second stage and...
"in second stage install
 extracting usbcore.o
 extracting usb-uhci.o
 extracting isa-pnp.o
 extracting serial.o
Please wait while probing serial ports..."

cursor blink about ten second and stop blinking....
This time keyboard is no more responding...
Only one solution: Power OFF !!!

2) Not discouraged, I make a network.img floppy ..., boot ok
setting lan OK, loadind second stage and...
"in second stage install
 extracting usbcore.o
 extracting usb-uhci.o
 extracting isa-pnp.o
 extracting serial.o
Please wait while probing serial ports..."

cursor blink about ten second and stop blinking....
This time keyboard is no more responding...
Only one solution: Power OFF !!!

Houtch, keyboard is dead, can't do Alt F3 / F4... so
Power off, and power on

Reboot, re-lan parameters, re-second stage loading, but switch by Alt F3
"Secondary stage install running (Drakx v1.460 built Tue Mar 20 12:20:34 2001)
blabla..blabla
running: /usr/bin/insmod -2>/dev/tty5 -f /tmp/serial.o"

wait abou ten second, cursor stop, keybord lock, OK this was the last
running process... Power off, power on, rerereboot.....
before end of second stage loading, switch to Alt F4, wait for crash and next
are the last lines..
"Serial driver version 5.02 (2000-08-08(09?? have mispelled!!!)) with
MANY_PORTS SHARE_IRQ SERIAL_PCI ISAPNP enabled
<6> ttyS00 at 0x03F8 (irq = 4) is a 16550A
<6> ttyS01 at 0X02f8 (irq = 3) is a 16550A"

That's all.
What can I do now ?

The box said "Need Windows 95 or better", so I installed Linux
