Tried: rpm -Uhv tetex-1.0.7-21mdk.i586.rpm (tried 2 mirrors) after approx. 70% of the installation, memory consumption increased permanently and the system was unusable. rpm -Uhv --test tetex... and rpm --checksig tetex... were okay. System: kernel-2.4.2-20mdk, reiserfs partition, rpm-4.0-23mdk
