Sorry.  No sarcasm intended here.  What I mean is that  with this suggestion
that we have lists of packages that different people would like to use ( a
Linus Torvalds list being a list of programs that Linus would like to have on
his machine) we may end up with thousands of such lists that would bring us
to square one.  Remember, the problem we are trying to solve is the number of
programs to choose from and the unnecessary duplication of function
introduced by installing many programs doing the same thing.
