This was my point exactly. Linux powers the Internet but it can't browse it.
I've found that StarOffice does a great job as far as word processing and
spreadsheets are concerned. I suppose if you're a stickler about licensing
details then it wouldn't work but it's a step in the right direction. Hell
even WordPerfect runs well on my Linux box. Mozilla is getting more stable
and Galeon makes a nice front end but it's not enough. I'd like to be able
to click on an e-mail link and have it open the mail client of my choice
without crashing the browser or be able to print a web page without a
segfault. I'm sure this browser will surface eventually but newbies need
those comforts. There has to be some way to put "training wheels" on Linux
wouldn't you say?
