DO NOT upgrade libsafe from 1.3 to 2.0! If you have libsafe in your
/etc/ld.so.preload you will break your running system if you do!
The safest thing to do would be to remove that library from
/etc/ld.so.preload *before* doing any upgrade.
Cooker-makers, can we please have the pre-install script for libsafe
edit the old libsafe library out of the ld.so.preload? The
post-install should probably put it back in if it was removed by the
pre-install. Methinks testing and clearing the LD_PRELOAD env. var.
would be a good idea too.
