I'm using Mdk7.2, while i used kernel 2.2.17 everything worked fine, but i
updated the kernel to 2.4.3, and now i can't copy cd's.
It's very strange, the first copy works fine, but when i try a second copy
cdrecord starts consuming all my cpu until X freeze. I can't even kill
cdrecord, kill -9 pid doesn't work!!!! It look like the signal isn't
delivered, the only way of getting out of this situation is the windows way,
the reset button!! Where is the problem? it's the kernel? Cdrecord?
My setup: Athlon 1.2Ghz, Abit KT7 Raid, Samsung CDRw, TNT2, 20Gb IBM Ata66
with ReiserFS.
