Hi, If I compile a program on LM7.2 and then run it on LM8.0, I get the followinng error. error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory This is what is installed by default: $ ll /usr/lib/libstd libstdc++-3-libc6.2-2-2.10.0.a libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 libstdc++-3-libc6.2-2-2.10.0.so libstdc++-libc6.2-2.a.3 I had reported this error during Betas too.. any solution other than creating a link? sarang
