So what ever happened to avifile in contribs? It was there a couple
months ago, now it's gone. When I first installed this cooker system, I
could watch avi's "out of the box". Then it disappeared (re-installed
at some point). And rpmfind lists no Mandrake RPMs. Searched google
and it turns up some places that have the one built back in February,
but it won't install because of bad dependencies. So what happened? I
assume something legal rather than technical.
And I've tried downloading the tar from divx.euro.ru and it won't build.
avifile-0.53.5
../lib/.libs/libaviplay.so: undefined reference to
`Mpegtoraw::generate(void)'
../lib/.libs/libaviplay.so: undefined reference to
`Mpegtoraw::generate_2(void)'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
I don't ever build anything. That's why I use an RPM-based distro.
Anyone know what this means? What am I missing?
Eaon
p.s. You sure on that univ-reunion.fr? I can't seem to resolve it.
