I have the same problem.

I had to manually edit /etc/urpmi/urpmi.cfg and add my new source, something 
like:

Updates file://mnt/updates/ {
  hdlist: hdlist.Updates.cz
  list: list.Updates
}

/mnt/updates is an nfs mount point for my 8.0 updates RPMS.
