[Cooker] Help! Install on IBM T21. Doesn't like the graphics card!

I'm  new to Linux and this is my 1st attempt to install. I'm making my 
attempt on an IBM T21 laptop, but am having difficulty with the graphics 
card and monitor drivers. The monitor I'm using is a Compaq S910 through a 
docking station attached to a KVM switch. As for the graphics card, I 
believe it's a S3. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.
