BTW: I remember that someone was complaining about the initrd.img link 
(months ago), when you have got a boot _partition_.
And the problem persists. When I install a new kernel, I got the link in 
boot, say, initrd.img -> /boot/initrd-2.4.5-6mdk.img
The grub entry is correct: initrd (hd0,6)/initrd.img, but the link should be 
a relative path (initrd.img -> initrd-2.4.5-6mdk.img).
