We (the Anchorage Linux Users Group) are having our annual installfest.
Since we have limited space and etc., the topic of which distros to
provide came up. I was amazed when, after we had agreed to use the top
3, the following stats were cited:

That's precisely what needs to happen. As the AK manager for the Linux
Counter, I can tell you that the demographic makeup up here for the
various
distributions are not the same as they are in the lower 48.
We need the biggest pool of manpower to tap into for assistance with the
installfest, which means we need to plan according to local resources.
I think I can persuade them to use Mandrake Linux as one anyway; is
there someone at Mandrakesoft who could help with some material?
