Very good point, particularly since the cooker kernels are in constant flux,
and fixing up ONE update kernel for a production system is a one-time, fixed
process. Heck, lots of people out there are rolling their own for their 7.2
and 8.0 systems, so obviously it *CAN* be done in a reasonable amount of
time.

I totally agree regarding the prioritizing of resources within the Mandrake
production environment. I think therein lies the problem.
