Well, yes, but rpmproc contains the development cycle of Mandrake cooker only.

I agree that it's a very useful tool for us during the development of Mandrake,
but most users would rather prefer to report the bug to us through bugzilla
than mail us a mail saying that there is a fixed package at so and so FTP
which you can leech and re-compile .. so, I still think that it is not
a good idea for main. Just because.

I'm not sure. The only avifile source which I have really looked at was the
one from xmovie.

Again, as far as MPEG issues go, I think that decoding is Ok, but encoding
is not, you'd have to pay a fee ...

Well, if doesn't contain any encoding stuff then I think it should be fine
to distribute concerning the MPEG license ..
