Could you try removing your ~/.sawfish directory.. ?
I think this problem was caused by sawfish menu method...

Wrong idea, good programs/libraries should not rely on HOME variable but
on passwd info so you are likely to have problem when setting HOME
variable..

I don't know.. you are still the only person having this kind of
problem.. And until I'm able to replicate it on my test machine, it will
be very hard to duplicate.. If you have an high bandwith connection and
can create a test account on this PC, could you send me by private email
that so I'll try to test on your PC ?
