Why? As I already wrote - if you compile both ACPI and APM and use
noacpi (I guess - have to check), it won't be used. Actually, I believe,
it can be made default, so people who want to test ACPI will do it and
others won't even notice it.

I personally would like to see my system finally doing Suspend to RAM,
just like Windows.
