Hi,

I want to mount my root partition as ext3 but the
kernel still mounts it as ext2. Could you please tell
me what I need to do to have it mounted as ext3?
(Note: The Ext3 is loaded by the ramdisk as the ext3.o
module is loaded).

Here is the procedure I followed:
1. Run tune2fs -j /dev/hdb1 to create journal
2. Change ext2 to ext3 in /etc/fstab
3. Make ram disk to load ext3 module
4. Change lilo to use ram disk

Craig
