[Cooker] Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP?

OK, I'm confused.  This machine has been running fine all morning.  Suddenly 
I go to launch Konqueror - or any program for that matter, and get the 
message:

Klauncher could not be reached via DCOP

Hey, at least it said it was sorry.
